Are You Hooked?

When you plan do you make sure that your goals are measurable? Notice I said when you plan.  I am assuming that you write down some form of plan for your personal and professional life. Even if it is from week to week, that is a good start.

Accountability:  Courtney Paris

We talk alot about teamwork, responsibility and accountability, but there is a great article in Bloomberg that drives the point home. Courtney Paris is a young basketball star at the University of Oklahoma, and she can teach us all something about accountability. A quick note: the University would not accept her repayment, so she opened a charitable fund for the money.  Awesome!

The Execution of a Vision,  Part Two

In our last blog we began discussing the Visionary component of The Execution of a Vision.  Now we will discuss Execution. When it comes to learning about leadership, teams, techniques and strategy there are an enormous number of resources available.  Reading and research is a good start, but it will all be meaningless unless you aggressively apply the insights you have gathered from these resources.
