People who write down goals can earn nine times the money that people who don’t write down goals earn, according to Dave Kohl, Professor Emeritus at Virginia Tech.

I had a boss who used to say that teams take on the personalities of their leaders.  I like that saying, and have seen it play out many times, sometimes to my great amusement.

Done right, this takes a bit of time to do, but what do you have to do today that’s more important than encouraging your team members?

Everyone is looking for the quick fix. We want that elixir that makes our pain go away, whatever that pain may be.

The “squeeze” that some managers find themselves in with people to lead and a boss to please, creates for some a difficult situation.  I recommend this article to others as a step in the right direction.
